fullmetalchrono Posted December 10, 2017 Posted December 10, 2017 Hi, i'm trying to fix discoloration on an old photo. I realized most of the discoloration goes when I view only the blue composite layer. How can I export only this layer. Currently when I export all layers the discoloration remains. Quote
R C-R Posted December 10, 2017 Posted December 10, 2017 (edited) Assuming you are using Affinity Photo: 1. Select the image in the Layers panel. 2. In the Channels panel, right-click on the layer's Red channel (not the Composite Red one) & choose "Clear" from the popup menu. 3. Repeat step 2 for the Green channel. 4. Optionally, right-click on the Blue channel & select "Create Greyscale Layer," then delete the original layer. 5. Export to the desired format. fullmetalchrono Posted December 10, 2017 Author Posted December 10, 2017 Hi. Thanks. When I have both the blue layer selected it appears fine. But when i delete the red, green and alpha layers the photo changes to completely blue. Quote
R C-R Posted December 10, 2017 Posted December 10, 2017 Don't delete the alpha channel, just the red & green ones.
