Hi There,

I have a jpg picture (the right one) which I would like to copy the fill pattern from.

The squares are 1px*1px
I'm doing it manually now but is there a better way. (function, script)

kind regards

Hi, Forssux,

AD does not have a scrip[ting language at this point. I haven't used AP enough to know if a macro could be recorded for something like what you are doing, but kind of doubt it would.

In AD, the only things I can think of are to sample each of the ?16 colors, and make a square for each. Then, set up a grid of the same dimensions, turn snap to grid on, and begin dragging copies of all 900+ instances to the needed position.

I would suppose a script might be written to somehow get a color sample at each squares center, and insure it matched on of the 16 defined values. Then create a square drawn w. that fill color at the appropriate place. Not sure which would be harder.
