RobBarnes
I use Affinity Designer to letter my comic pages and am trying the beta for Affinity Photo to use to color them. I noticed that when you copy from one document and start a new document, you have to specify the size of the new document. I would like it if it would detect the size of the item in the clipboard and use that as the size of the new document. I didn't see any preferences to set it up like this. Thanks LISA LEAGUE
LISA LEAGUE
I have not been able to open an image, and select all and copy into into a new document. I do this in Photoshop, so think the action should be similar.
billtils
Welcome to the AP Beta forum Lisa League! I'm not sure exactly what it is that you want to do, but it may well be covered in this video on the Affinity Photo Vimeo channel: https://vimeo.com/channels/875980/120458870 Retina iMac (4K display, 1TB SSD, 16GB RAM) OS X 10.11.6 Capture One 10. nravenlock
Have you tried the New From Clipboard or Edit in Designer/Photo options from the File menu?
