pixiegirl Posted November 11, 2017 Share Posted November 11, 2017 Ok I have had Affinity Photo for a while and never have used it. I'm on a newer iMac and I've used Photoshop for YEARS so I just know it well. I've upgraded my iMac without thinking to High Sierra and now Photoshop won't even open. I happen to work for a lot of real estate agents and make a ton of postcards for them, in Photoshop, with a new listing on them. I then upload the finished product to VistaPrint and we get gorgeous high-quality postcards printed out. The cards have a photo of the house for sale, I put in semi-transparent color blocks, and then text on those color blocks and type in info about the house. Can I do all that with Affinity Photo or should I be looking at some other product (either by Affinity or any other company)? As screwy and non-intuitive as Photoshop is after years of using it I know it really well! Any help will be greatly appreciated. Then I guess today I'm going to start watching some basic beginner videos online about how to use Affinity. I have a lot to learn, it took me about 10 minutes to figure out how to change the color on text. So lessons it is. Thank you, very much.
