When I do a curve, it appears on a layer. When we make a selection from this curve, the layer disappears. How could I save my curves for future utilization in a palette?

Thank you,

Jac Mat.

Just press Ctrl + J to duplicate the curve layer first.

Windows PCs. Photo and Designer, latest non-beta versions.

Hi Jac Mat,

Welcome to Affinity Forums :)

I'm assuming you are using Affinity Photo. Unlike Photoshop, Affinity Photo doesn't have a Paths panel so you have to duplicate the path first as toltec suggested and place them all inside a layer or group for later reuse.

Good hint, thank you. During you are there, is a shortcut to put, by default, the black and white colour in the colour panel?

The zoom tool shortcut is often problematic. Now with the pen tool, it zooms in, but unable to zoom out. I press space bar and Cmd and Alt like I always do and it stays stuck or I don't see the plus and minus sign.

If I press first the Alt or Cmd before the Spacebar, it doesn't work. It seems to be done like that.
