Mariosupa
Hey everyone! Is there a way to select vector points, lasso style? Like the lasso tool in Illustrator. The only possibility to select point with rectangular marquee makes me loose patience and jump back to illustrator. Please tell me there's a shortcut or something I didn't notice! :) Cheers
Staff MEB Posted July 19, 2017 Staff Share Posted July 19, 2017 Hi jazzdubist, Welcome to Affinity Forums :) No, there's no similar tool in Designer at the moment. I'm moving this thread to the Feature Requests section. Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software | Affinity Quick Reference

Peregrin
Sounds like it'd be really useful. Selecting points without such a tool can be a bit time-consuming.
Karl Toon
Has there been any development of such a tool yet? Or, can anyone recommend any freeware where I can open an EPS file and make a lasso selection. Thanx.
Mariosupa
Yo Macdonut! It's already implemented! Grab the Node tool (A), select your curve and hold option/alt while you drag the mouse.
Karl Toon
Well, shucks! Maybe I should check here more often. I was just installing Scribus to do the work, but this will be better. Thanks for the quick reply.
