tashley
So when I use the transform studio, rotating 90 degrees simply crops the image as it rotates, leaving transparency areas on the sides ( when going from landscape to portrait). I have read the help section a zillion times and tried every iteration, including trying to swap the height and width fields, which are generally grayed out anyway. This is a lot more counterintuitive than it should be. HELP, please...
Staff MEB Posted July 4, 2017 Staff Share Posted July 4, 2017 Hi tashley, Welcome to Affinity Forums :) That's because you are actually rotating the layer (which is then clipped by the canvas) and not the canvas itself. To rotate the canvas tap the document icon7menu on the top of the interface and select Orientation ▸ Rotate left (or right) as you see fit. tashley
Thank you... I'm not sure that's clear in Help, but I could be wrong...
