Aeromations
I use Affinity Photo on iPad and there are some tools like motion blur, lighting, zoom blur, twirl, HSL, and depth of field blur. The tools are on the bottom left of the screen but I don't know how to switch to a different one, any help?
DavidMac
I can't help you as I don't use iPad, but you may get a quicker answer to this here iPad Questions Forum
Staff MEB Posted June 18, 2017 Staff Share Posted June 18, 2017 Hi Aeromations, Welcome to Affinity Forums :) These are features adjustments and filters. You can add them clicking on the 5th (Adjustments Studio) and 6th icons (Filters Studio) on the right of the interface. If you have trouble finding them, tap and hold the question mark on the bottom right of the interface to display tooltips with the names of all tools/studios. When you add adjustments or filters to your project they appear on the Layers Studio as new layers. Double tapping them lets you (re) adjust the settings (showing the respective context toolbar on the bottom of the screen). Note that for filters to be added as layers to the Layers Studio (as live filters) you must tap the lightning bolt icon on the context toolbar on bottom. We don't make them available as live filters immediately (as we do for adjustments) because they are resource hungry and end up slowing down the application if you add several ones. So by default they are applied as destructive filters and cannot be re-adjusted unless you convert them taping the lighting bolt icon. Here's two video tutorial that may help: - Adjustments - Filters Let me know if you still have trouble. I've moved this thread to the iPad Question & Feedback section.
