abfdesign
How do I align whole para to first tab or space like I used to in QX? See attached. Thanks Andy
abfdesign
It's basically 'Indent here'. But I can't find it.

Staff MEB Posted June 9, 2017 Staff Share Posted June 9, 2017 Hi abfdesign, Open the Paragraph panel, place the cursor over the paragraph you want to indent and set the value you want in the Left Indent field in the Spacing section (the middle field on the bottom row). abfdesign
Hi Thanks, but that's not it. I want the bullet to stay where it is, but I want the following para (wherever I place it) to line to itself. In QX, it was 'Indent here'. It was a little invisible that told everything in that following para should line up with it. Until you do next para return. Andy
abfdesign
In QX, it was 'Command \'.
abfdesign
No! Think I got ya now. The 'First line indent' was automatically placing same measurement I was placing in 'Left indent' (Tab 16mm). I '0' that and now it works. Thanks. Andy
abfdesign
Thanks, I look forward to Affinity Publisher. As you see from my previous post, I managed to achieve what I needed anyway (with your help). Thanks again.
Staff MEB Posted June 9, 2017 Staff Share Posted June 9, 2017 Sorry, i deleted the post while you were replying because i was checking/testing it here with bullets and saw there may be a way to get what you were asking for so deleted the last post immediately to experiment a few things first. Unfortunately you have caught it before being deleted. Sorry the mess. Still what i said is true, Publisher should offer a lot more control over text than Designer.
