VectorCat
I have a rectangle on top of a larger rectangle and when I have both selected and press the subtract boolean icon, the larger disappears leaving the smaller. My goal is to cut a notch out of the bigger rectangle with the smaller one. Can someone point me in the right...procedural direction? thank you! Staff MattP Posted December 11, 2014 Staff Share Posted December 11, 2014 Hi VectorCat, The rule is: The top object will subtract from the bottom object. If this isn't happening, could you post a simple example file here and I can take a look, please? :) Thanks, Matt
VectorCat
Yeah, I can throw that up later on..I think it was a temporary glitch; I came back later and it worked...no clue why it didn't work, but later did. my instinct was right having the "cutting" shape be on top, tho...
