Show Zoom alone

Recommended Posts

I use the Zoom part of the Navigator panel but never the navigation portion. Would like to be able to, say by double clicking on the text "Zoom", hide the navigator portion such that only the zoom part shows. The point being to maximize usage of the real estate in the Panels portion of the window.

I currently detach the Navigator panel and position it at the bottom of the screen such that only the Zoom portion shows. Not a bad solution but inelegant and necessitates repositioning it separately when adjusting the window. Would  rather just have a reduced-to-zoom Navigator panel docked at the bottom of the panels list.

Must be pretty good software if requests have gotten down to this level hey? Of course, if this impedes potential development of arrowheads, ignore it!

Aw, shucks. While I'm at it, it seems like, for the Zoom adjustment, the circled plus icon, for increasing zoom, would make more sense being adjacent to the scroll bar instead of out beyond the input box.

[edit] It also seems that the Navigator panel, when docked and displayed, wants to take up a lot of space. It can be minimize but once any other new panel choice is selected from another tabbed group, Navigator again expands to take up excess real estate. It has to then be resized again by hand to allow a healthy amount of layers to be shown without having to scroll.
