PeterPanino
How can I assign a subset of properties from one object to another object? For example: 1. Select object A 2. Copy properties of object A to the internal clipboard 3. Select object B 4. Paste properties from internal clipboard 5. Check which properties you want to paste (with visual feedback) 6. Click OK to apply pasting the checked properties to object B
Staff MEB Posted January 24, 2017 Staff Share Posted January 24, 2017 Hi PeterPanino, Welcome to Affinity Forums :) To copy a style from one object to another, select the object and press ⌘ (cmd) + C to copy to the clipboard then select the object you want to paste and go to menu Edit ▸ Paste Style (or press ⇧ (shift) + ⌘ (cmd) + V. Currently there's no way to select which attributes/properties are pasted. To copy/paste just an FX, copy to clipboard as usual and go to menu Edit ▸ Paste FX or press ⌃(ctrl) + ⌘(cmd) + V. We intend to implement select objects by attributes in a future version and hopefully this may be considered for implementation as well. Meanwhile i'm moving this thread to the Feature Requests section. Terry Beer 1 Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
