iFatty
Hello, I'm currently using the app to make a poster for my studies. I wanted to make a bullet form in the textbox, just like those in keynote or powerpoint, but I can't find it. Is it available ? Many thanks. Staff MEB Posted November 18, 2014 Staff Share Posted November 18, 2014 Hello iFatty. Welcome to Affinity Forums. Bullets weren't implemented yet it in Affinity Designer. You will have to create them manually for now . Place the cursor where you want the bullet, go to Edit -> Special Characters... (last entry), go to Bullets/Stars section in the new pop-up dialog (use the arrow on the bottom right to show the rest of the sections) and pick one. justwilliam 1 Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software

Polina Kotina
Hello. I'm also working on an academic poster and would really appreciate bullet points function. Is it coming sometime soon?
Staff MEB Posted September 27, 2015 Staff Share Posted September 27, 2015 Hi Polina Kotina, Welcome to Affinity Forums :) I'm afraid this still may take a little. Since we will be launching a desktop application later (Affinity Publisher in the end of this year/beginning of next as a Beta) i believe this will be implemented there first and then eventually ported back to Designer. Meanwhile you can go to menu Edit -> Special Characters... (or Emoji & Symbols depending on the OS you're running), select the Bullets/Stars section and pick one of them there. You can then copy/paste as needed to quickly create more. Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
craigriches
Wow! not quite an Indesign replacement yet then?
Staff MEB Posted May 24, 2016 Staff Share Posted May 24, 2016 Hi craigriches, No, not yet. We are a relatively small team and there's quite a few apps being developed (including iOS versions of Designer and Photo) so it may take a little.
