Can we get an equivalent to AI's Ctrl+Shift+M (transform -> move). This is something I am constantly using for exact object/text placement.

Welcome to the Affinity Forums, cghearn. :)

For exact object placement, use the controls in the Transform panel. You can type an expression such as +=50 if you want to move the selected object(s) by a precise number of units in the x or y direction.

Thanks. I was hoping more for a popup that provides two boxes; one for X and one for Y, but I guess that will do for now.

Hi, is this feature finally being added 8 years later?
I'm considering switching to Designer but this feature is a must for me, I use it all the time in my Illustrator workflow.

Example of use ( 1st and 2nd shortcuts)

I know you can ctrl + j or alt + drag, move the object where you want using the coordinates in the transform window and then ctrl + j again to repeat, but it's much slower and more tedious when you are used to this illustrator workflow.

EDIT :

I found something with the move tool by pressing the return key to display a Move / Duplicate dialog, but I have the impression that ctrl + j to repeat doesn't work afterwards, so you have to plan the number of copies directly.
