I usually use a standard brush tip for the eraser when using my Wacom tablet with Affinity Paint. The drawing end will vary, but usually I don't like using something like texture or effects for the eraser. It would be nice if the eraser wouldn't change to match the drawing tip, but remained the same when switching back and forth. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Therefore the paintbrush sould use one tip whilst the eraser uses a different brush tip. It shouldn't be shared across tools. Is this not what you are seeing?
