I'm trying to create a macro in order to automate the generation process of some layout guides.

For example a 12 column grid layout etc...

So far I did it using fixed common widths (1280px, 1440px etc...)

This works fine but I hoped that turning guides in % the macro would have been smart enough to understand the file width and distribute these guides proportionally.

Am I too optimist?  :P

Currently It seems to retain the source file width and plots guides starting from that value and not the document one.

Eg.

I record such a macro using a 1280px wide canvas, placing 11 guides at 8.33% distance one each-other.

I play this macro with a 1024px wide file and it should place each grid at 8.33% of this new width.

In this case I'd need only one macro to rule them all...  :)

Does it makes any sense?
