affinityashh Posted October 13, 2016 Posted October 13, 2016 Hello, maybe I am not too clever, but I can't get to create a style with an embedded texture in Affinity Designer. The funny thing is that I've been trying about ten times, and one of the times I could create the style... Sadly I can't remember how I did it. Quote
affinityashh Posted October 14, 2016 Author Posted October 14, 2016 Could someone please help me? :( Quote
Staff MEB Posted October 14, 2016 Staff Posted October 14, 2016 Hi asantos, Welcome to Affinity Forums :) Select the object you are using to create the style, then change to the Fill Tool, go to the context toolbar and change the Type to Bitmap - a dialog will open to let you pick an image (texture). That's it. It will be applied to the object as a texture. You can use the controls on canvas to scale/stretch/rotate it, and there's a few more options in the context toolbar that may be useful (Maintain fill aspect ratio). Then create a style from the object. affinityashh and mykee 2 Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
