Can't type chinese character

Hi

 

I am using the affinity designer windows beta latest version in widows 10.

 

And i always have the problem with typing chinese character.

 

First , i find out the font select section doesn't have the fonts that i install.

 

in the system that shows at least 93 kind of fonts,but the font select section only have 76 fonts .

 

And when i am typing chinese, it show the little green arrow instead of normal typing window.

when i press enter , it shows nothing what i am typing. or i have to change the font  to start typing . 

 

i assume this is a bug.

 

please help to solve this problem

Hi Lenuis,

This is a known issue with IME input and is with the developers to fix.

Regarding the issue with the font - Type 1 fonts are not supported by Affinity so this could explain why you're not getting some. Are you able to go through your fonts list and see if any of those missing are not Type 1? If so could you attach them to the post or PM me a link to them (if commercial).
