Affinity Designer Ipad v2 - Document Presets Have Bugs

Problem 1) I create a canvas (document) preset in cm’s. However after creation It is saved as mm.

 

Problem 2) I try to delete the canvas (document) preset and delete from this app It deletes all the presets in the category. (Let’s say Print)

It is the same when I click delete form all the apps. Etc.

(Now I have to remove and reinstall the Affinity Designer as well because I deleted the presets.)

 

How can I fix these?

I'm unable to duplicate this issue. I created a document with the iPad version and after creating it checked the units in Document Setup and they were still in cm.

To delete a preset, do not tap the Delete icon beside the preset category name - that will delete all the category and all of its presets as you discovered. Instead, you should swipe left on a preset and then you'll be able to delete the single preset.

You can reset your document presets without reinstalling. Just force quit the app and restart it. When you see the splash screen, double tap on it and the Clear User Data window will appear. Select only Reset Document Presets and tap Reset.

BTW, you said you're using v2 in the title of your post but your signature block says you're using v1. You can update your signature by going to this forum's Account Settings and choosing Signature.

Understood. By mistake I deleted Preset Categories.

 

Now I could get them back.
