Hugh Bothwell Posted March 14 Posted March 14 I am using Publisher 2.6.0 on Windows 11 on a dual-monitor setup (laptop with attached monitor). If I go to Window / Section Manager... or Window / Font Manager... or Window / Resource Manager... I get the respective pop-up windows as expected, but if I go to Window / Data Merge Manager... it does absolutely nothing; I can't find the Data Merge Manager window anywhere. It was working for me two weeks ago; I believe that was before I did the 2.5.6 -> 2.6.0 update. I tried going to Windows Settings / Apps / Installed Apps / Affinity Publisher 2 and doing a Reset (ie return app settings to default); this doesn't seem to have made any difference. How can I get my Data Merge Manager window back?? Quote
GarryP Posted March 16 Posted March 16 Welcome to the forums @Hugh Bothwell It sounds like the Data Merge Manager window is ‘stuck’ on a monitor which is no longer ‘available’. If you have already reset your application to the defaults then the quickest/easiest way to fix this might be to simply uninstall it and then re-install. I’m fairly sure that there is a thread somewhere in these forums which tells you how to fully uninstall (completely remove all components and start afresh) an Affinity application on Windows but I can’t find it at the moment. Some web searching might help you to find out how to do it. Quote
Hugh Bothwell Posted March 16 Author Posted March 16 I found a "Factory Reset" article - when starting Publisher hold down the Ctrl key. This gives a "Clear User Data" dialog that lets you decide exactly what you want to reset. I chose the second box ("Reset Document & Window States"), which fixed my missing Data Merge Manager window. 👍 Old Bruce 1 Quote

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.
