Jacob Rodgers Posted March 12 Posted March 12 With the latest update (Mac, Sequoia 15.3.1, Publisher 2.6.0), I am getting weird behavior in the Transform panel. For example: Say i want to change the Width to 7p9, and do so: The width changes to 7p9 as expected, but the X position also changes (as not at all expected!). As you can see, the left side should be anchored, so should not move. Any ideas about what's going on? Quote
Hangman Posted March 12 Posted March 12 Hi @Jacob Rodgers and welcome to the forums, This looks like a bug to me... If you change the length to 7p9 instead of the width, all seems to work as expected, i.e., it doesn't change the x coordinate... MikeTO Posted March 12 Posted March 12 I can't duplicate this with a line using the exact same coordinates. Is there a step I'm missing? I think this is likely the same or related to a known bug logged under AF-2183 where the Transform Origin is incorrectly positioned when a stroke is shortened or lengthened... I did create a new document, and I can't reproduce it either. I went back to the document it occured in, and made sure that the line was not part of a group, and it still occurs. If it is just a document related issue, then no worries – the project will be done soon enough. But if it keeps happening in other projects, that will be more frustrating. I was just worried that the upgrade had borked something for all of my documents. Maybe it is tied to Hangman's issue, and when that is fixed, it will be resolved. Quote

Thanks, now I see the issue with I move the origin.
