Healing Brush is not working and is showing a red line with a blue circle and blue plus on the end of it.  If anyone has seen this, please give me a tip on how to get it working again.  I've got some healing to do!  The attached photo shows it.

thx,

Dave

Hi Dave,

please give a bit more context.

  • which OS
  • which Affinity Photo Version
  • a screenshot of the full application window, including all toolbars, status bars, layer panel, navigator panel

The screenshot will help to see which settings you activated or changed.

  • Blend mode should be "normal".
  • Wet Edges deactivated
  • A regular round brush is chosen
  • Width, Opacity, Flow, Hardness set to defaults
  • no selection active (deactivate all by cmd-D, ctrl-D)

I use iPad screenshots and videos even in the Desktop section of the forum when I expect no relevant difference.

The line with circle is the stabiliser indicator. you can deactivate it by unchecking  the box in the toolbar under the menu in the upper part of the window.
