How do I edit the blue footnote at the foot of each of my messages? A long time ago someone told me and I managed to insert such a footnote. But now it is way out of date and I don't remember how to access it.

Main machine is 2024 24" iMac running Sequoia 15.2 with 8GB of RAM. Also have 2022 12" Macbook Air also running Sequoia 15.2, also with 8GB of RAM. On the side I have a 2019 27" iMac running Mojave 10.14.6 because that is the last OS that lets me run Adobe software without getting dragged into the subscription spiderweb.

Click on your avatar at the top-right of any forum page, then choose Profile from the menu, and then click the Edit Profile button near the top-right of your profile background picture. and then click the Account Settings button near the top-right of your profile background picture, then choose Signature from the menu on the left.

Thank you, GarryP.

And thank you, Finding Bugs Everywhere, whose message seems not to have appeared but came to me as an email.

BTW, it's not under "Edit Profile" but in the Profile "Settings" -> "Signature".

Yeah, thanks for bringing that up.

For some reason I thought the “About me” field was for the signature.

I’ve edited my earlier post as appropriate.
