Pen movement in xppen Deco not reflected while focusing on Affinity product

I purchased an XP-Pen Deco L and tried to use it with Affinity Photo, but the problem is as described above: while the focus is on the Affinity application, the cursor does not move when the pen is moved, but when the focus is removed, the cursor moves. Pen strokes do not result in a mouse button press. Shortcut buttons are working properly.

• The phenomenon is reproduced with the latest versions (2.5.7) of Affinity Designer and Affinity Photo. I do not own Publisher.
• The phenomenon is reproduced regardless of whether the document is open or not.
• The phenomenon is reproduced regardless of whether hardware acceleration is turned on or off.

I have tested a Deco Pro (2nd Gen) M with driver 4.0.6 under Windows 11. I cannot reproduce the behaviour you describe. You may have a driver or a program running in the background that triggers this behaviour.
It is often caused by anti-malware programmes from third-party manufacturers.

In fact the driver of XPPen was running background, and terminating it from tasktray fixed my problem. Bizarrely it seems that the driver of XPPen itself was causing the problem.

After once terminating the driver, launching driver(utility?) again no longer caused any problems.
