Daniel Höpfl Posted February 5 Posted February 5 If I try to open the attached BMP file in Affinity Photo 2.5.7 (same in Designer/Publisher) on Windows (10), it opens at the correct size but without content. What seems to be the problem is that the file has 32 bit per pixel, using the BI_RGB compression method: If I use a hex editor to manually change the header of the BMP to 24 bit per pixel, removing every fourth byte in the bitmap data results in a BMP that can be loaded (even though the content length in the header is now incorrect). Staff Lee D Posted February 5 Staff Posted February 5 @Daniel Höpfl We have this issue logged with our developers so I've updated the report to include this one, including your files. A workaround after opening the file on the Channels studio is right click on the Background Alpha and select Fill. Quote
