Laznt Posted February 3 Posted February 3 (edited) My Affinity Designer 2 seems to be working just fine except for some reason is not allowing me to ctrl + click a curve point so that when adjusting the curve line it preserves the handle ratio making it a symmetrical distance. I do not want to guess the other end of the curve point so that is about the same length. It works with shapes, but not curve points... Please help! Edited February 3 by Laznt Fixing typo Quote
Hangman Posted February 3 Posted February 3 Hi @Laznt and welcome to the forums, If you use the Shift Key and adjust the longer curve line to the same length as the shorter one or vice versa you will see small tangent lines appear at the centre of both curve line curves when they're the same length. From that point, you can hold the Ctrl Key to adjust as before with both curve lines maintaining the same length... Laznt Posted February 3 Author Posted February 3 Yeah that is true, except when holding Ctrl key and drag the curve point, it doesn't maintain the same length for me. I'm not sure if this is a bug or is a setting problem? Tho I've reset everything. My Ctrl key does work on everything else Quote
Hangman Posted February 3 Posted February 3 On Windows, you have to use Drag+Right Mouse to preserve handle ratios (so basically hold both mouse buttons) which is shown in the status bar at the bottom of the UI, on Mac it uses the Ctrl Key...
