NiTOXide Posted January 31 Posted January 31 Hi all, In-brief: Suggestion to have a link-able Master Style File that contains: Text Styles data Colour Palettes data Etc. In Detail: Similar to a Cascading Style Sheet (CSS) for websites, the Master Style File contains Text Styles and Colour Palettes can be referenced by multiple Affinity documents with ease. Affinity documents can link to a Master Style File. Doing so would load the Text Styles and Colour Palettes into document. Any changes to the Master Style File would cascade into the linked files once they open up in an Affinity program. The Master Style File can reside in a central location (company file server/cloud/drive/etc.) Benefits: Centralized Styles that can be quickly imported and updated. This would be handy to ensure all documents are up-to-date with an organization's text and colour styles. Easy to port text styles and colour styles. Issues: How the Master Style File could be edited or modified (by whom, how, when?) Can Affinity show an alert to a user notifying them that the Master Style File has been updated (and whether to accept those changes into their document?) Similar to when a linked Graphic has been updated. Thoughts and opinions please. Not sure if this has been discussed before. Viktor CR 1 Quote
