Obiep Posted January 25 Posted January 25 (edited) I am a relatively new user of Affinity Photo 2. on Mac mini 2023 with Apple M2 Pro chip and 16 Gb, running Sequoia 15.2 I am just trying at this point to make simple repairs to old photos. I have been experiencing difficulty with certain tools, particularly the Inpainting Brush Tool and the Clone Tool. When I first load a picture, the tool seems to work okay. Then, suddenly, it no longer works. Sometimes, I simply close the photo and the app, and then restart, and it will work. But this is rare.] Most often, I have to delete the app from my computer, and then download it again. When I do this, the tool works for a little while, but it inevitable stops working. Are there particular configuration settings that I should adjust after I load the photo and select a particular tool? Can anybody help? Brian Edited January 25 by Obiep Forgot to mention my hardware and software. Quote
walt.farrell Posted January 26 Posted January 26 If you provide a screen recording showing the complete application window, and with the Layers panel also visible and showing the relevant layers, we may be able to help you in figuring out what is going on. Obiep Posted January 26 Author Posted January 26 I think that I have found my error. I am continuing to verify this. If I still have trouble, I wil provide a screen recording of the steps I am taking. walt.farrell 1 Quote
