The video explains it all.

Linked files work fine with files of the same size. However, if the dimensions are different, it will use the preceding file as the bounding box for the new file.

To be honest, I'm not yet sure if there's a way to fix this or if it can be considered a bug at all, but the truth is that it does work differently in Designer and Photo, so there is some inconsistency at the very least.

Hi @krzemian,

As far as I'm aware, 'Replace image' using the bounds of the previous resource and scaling accordingly is expected, and this behaviour has been consistent in all three apps when I've tested. Could you advise what inconsistency you're observing between Designer/Photo 2 and provide a screen recording?

Thanks
