The reason I always think of this is that I've done it myself, more than once! (It would, of course, help if the default setting wasn't to export spreads!)

Usability is about reducing the risk of overlooking such things, and the cure here is quite simple – and desired by the customers. But Serif isn’t fixing the problem.

Serif, did you foolishly fill the usability specialist role you advertised internally? If so, be transparent with your customers. Continuing without proper UX expertise both insults and affects your entire customer base.
