I would like to dump InDesign and move to Publisher. I want mainly to draw wiring diagrams, which are really easy in InDesign. But in my trial Affinity period I think I'm right in saying you can't do a dotted line with a major and minor color like the ones here. Brown and white, for example. I can do a dotted line with long and short dots, but I can't manage this two color effect. Have I go that right or is there a way?

For this sort of thing I would use Designer and not Publisher as Designer has the Appearance Panel which makes this sort of thing a piece of cake. While Publisher is the closest application to InDesign, Designer is perhaps a better choice.

Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.6
Affinity Designer 2.6.0 | Affinity Photo 2.6.0 | Affinity Publisher 2.6.0 | Beta versions as they appear.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.

Rupert Paul: You could do what you want in Publisher by having two Curve layers for each line, one underneath with a solid stroke and one on top with a dotted/dashed stroke of a different colour (see attached image) but, as mentioned above, Designer will be better for this type of thing because you only need a single layer.

P.S. Welcome to the forums.
