Graphic74 Posted January 13 Posted January 13 When updating the Table of Contents (TOC) in Affinity Publisher, custom text styles are overridden or combined with recently used styles in the document. This results in inconsistent formatting and loss of the original TOC styles, making it difficult to maintain the intended appearance. Quote
MikeTO Posted January 13 Posted January 13 Hi, this is a known bug. It's logged as AF-1003 and AF-1233 so following one of these threads would allow you to notified when it's fixed. The workarounds are: Define your TOC styles in such a way that recently-applied character attributes will have no effect. This is the best solution but is difficult for some combinations. Draw a blank text frame on the TOC page. If you update the TOC and it turns Italic or some other character attribute, click in that frame and toggle the attribute on and off and then update the TOC again. https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/search/&tags=af-1003 https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/search/&tags=af-1233 Quote Download a free PDF manual for Affinity Publisher 2.6 Download a quick reference chart for Affinity's Special Characters Affinity 2.6 for macOS Sequoia 15.3, MacBook Pro (M4 Pro) and iPad Air (M2)
