Artcraft Posted January 11 Posted January 11 Is there a shortcut for that in Affinity Designer? I looked in the settings but couldn't find anything, which doesn't mean much, perhaps I missed it somewhere... I have a big palette as image and doing it click by click is a bit too tedious, too many colors.... I know Affinity has Image to palette thing but that's completely bugged and unfortunately not usable as it creates a lot of false extra colors (as you can see in the image, there's no anti aliasing) Quote
thomaso Posted January 11 Posted January 11 Unfortunately, you cannot create an Affinity shortcut for a command that does not have an entry in the main menu, but is just a button in the user interface. 3 hours ago, Artcraft said: Affinity has Image to palette thing but that's completely bugged and unfortunately not usable as it creates a lot of false extra colors (as you can see in the image, there's no anti aliasing) Even if you clean-up the image for a reduced number of halftones, this feature still doesn't fully match every colour, names all swatches with the image file name + consecutive numbering, insists to create a white swatch and creates all swatches in LAB colour space … which all together makes this palette creation feature less efficient and the manual way or any external method preferable.
