Franz Rogar Posted January 11 Posted January 11 (edited) WHAT IS REQUESTED The ability to apply the "master" to specific objects (ie. text-frames). WHY IT IS USEFUL There are some bug reports about missmatched header/footer and people in needed to restore the master on text frames without wipping the whole document. (I've personally suffered this and had to manually copy&paste hundreds of page headers...) IMPLEMENTATION Include for text-frames, on the right-click menu, an "Restore Master content", that clears its content and restores the master. MikeTO Posted January 11 Posted January 11 Another way to do it might be to select a master layer object such as a text frame and then choose a command such as Layer > Master Page > Apply to Selected Objects.
