Hello,

I'm working for a municipal company, jointly owned by three German citys. One of our tasks is to provide hard- and software for all schools in one city. There is no other party providing software, hardware or support to those schools, we are the sole provider and are not allowed to work for profit.

Right after the acquisition of Serif, we were provided with a free site license for one of our schools. Now another school (and potentially more in the future) is asking for a site license of their own. I submitted a request on this site for another license back in may 2024. To this day, we did not receive any new information about the free site licenses.

I am in contact with the customer support team based out of Nottingham. None of them can do anything besides refering to the registration link.
I submitted our company multiple times, without ever getting a response. After that I contacted Serif and Canva directly multiple times, without any response.

As far as i can tell, the problem is the following: The schools would be eligible to get free site licenses but cant procure any software on their own, thats why we exist.
We dont get recognized as an educational institution, but also not as a non-profit. It is therefore impossible for the schools to get these licenses.

I am at my wits end and see no other way to get some attention on this problem.

Please contact us at the submitted email address to get this sorted out.

I can see that you contacted Affinity Support at the end of September. Your message was forwarded to our Edu Sales team at the time. Not sure why they've not responded but will get them to reach out.

I can't comment of Canva's verification process but I can only suggest you reach out again to them here: https://www.canva.com/help/get-in-touch/troubleshooting/ - they're pretty quick at replying to Education related tickets.
