Iztok Posted January 5 Posted January 5 When i transform object width and hight are not set to proportional and when I set it next time is again set to nonporoportional, this si disturbing, because 99%, I enlarge or shrink objects or photos proportional, also some other settings must be set to some logic, and set to what is more usable, and when i switch app must remember that. MikeTO Posted January 5 Posted January 5 Hi, I don't believe anything has changed with this in 2.6. Am I missing something? With most apps (Adobe, Apple, Microsoft...), selecting Link constrains drag scaling but not in Affinity. Most other apps also have separate states for images (defaults to linked) versus non-images (defaults to unlinked). And with most apps, if you drag scale an image and a shape together, the image will be constrained and the shape will not. Microsoft Office handles this very well. This is what I suggested a while ago: Change Link so it controls the automatic constraint behaviour Have separate Link states for objects with inherent aspect ratios such as images and documents (default to Linked) versus other objects (default to Unlinked) Scale objects per their Link state even in multi and mixed selections Quote Download a free PDF manual for Affinity Publisher 2.6 Download a quick reference chart for Affinity's Special Characters Affinity 2.6 for macOS Sequoia 15.3, MacBook Pro (M4 Pro) and iPad Air (M2)
