Twolane Posted January 2 Posted January 2 This is no help whatsoever: However, I do have 40-odd choices in Publisher/Language/Spelling. Only a couple are selectable, and none of them are what I want, which happens to be US English. MikeTO Posted January 2 Posted January 2 Hi, you might want to read the equivalent section in my free Publisher manual which you can download from this forum - see the link in my signature below. Affinity uses the preinstalled spelling dictionaries on macOS and US English should already be installed. However, it will appear in the list as "English" without "US" in the name. That's just the way Apple named it. Twolane Posted January 2 Author Posted January 2 Thanks! That pretty much solved my dilemma. I picked up a 14-inch M3 Pro as a writing computer a couple of days ago. I'll be switching back and forth between two Dells until I've got it beaten into submission. I've only a few small things (like that) to clear up and I'm pretty much good to go. I have your pdf. I just never looked in the margin to find the obvious! Silly me. Thanks again. 4 hours ago, MikeTO said: it will appear in the list as "English" without "US" in the name.
