mitarashi Posted December 29, 2024 Posted December 29, 2024 If you double-click on the title bar of the Navigator window and collapse it, you will not be able to re-expand it. It is necessary to close and reopen the navigator. Quote
GarryP Posted December 29, 2024 Posted December 29, 2024 Double-clicking the Panel label (tab name) of a Panel should collapse the Panel Group to just the Panel labels. Clicking on any of the Panel labels in a collapsed Panel Group should expand the Panel Group. Quote
mitarashi Posted December 29, 2024 Author Posted December 29, 2024 I see, so it's just the label part. It is done. Thanks! Quote
MikeTO Posted December 29, 2024 Posted December 29, 2024 Collapsing and expanding panels can be confusing for those used to Adobe software. When I first switched to Affinity, I kept double-clicking collapsed panel tabs to expand them which expanded them but immediately collapsed them again. In Adobe software, single- or double-clicking a collapsed panel will expand it but in Affinity you must single-click it. Learning to single-click would be more efficient but I've been double-clicking collapsed panels for decades so it's a hard habit to break. Since double-click on a collapsed tab doesn't do anything useful, it would be nice if Affinity could treat it as a single click like Adobe does.
