Hi.
By editing a graphic composition and after only 2 or 3 minor modifications (the same) the two programs crash (publisher and designer).
I did't make the modification in the same order.
I suspect the -lock- file to be the source of the problem because I have already reported this problem in a previous version.
the recovery version has the same problem.
Si affinity

I will try to copy my work Into a new project.

It would be useful to create a custom affinity debugger in order to understand the errors and if they are redundant or known to reference them as soon as they are detected by the software and know what to do or to post targeted feedback so that the affinity team can more easily and quickly resolve the problem.

Affinity publisher designer and photo 2.5.7
MB Pro 2018 - MacOs 15.2
intel I7 2,6ghz , 16go

PS: if affinity didn't have an efficient system for saving work just before it crashes, I would have left affinity a long time ago. I'm not sure that new users would be so patient and curious to solve the problem. Working for hours on a job and having to lose everything or not being able to move on is very stressful the first time.

Could you confirm if this issue can be replicated, and if so can you provide a screen recording, relevant steps and a sample file along with any crash reports after experiencing this issue? This will allow us to investigate further.

Many thanks
