Weirdly distorted .dng files in Affinity 2.5.7

So, just updated Topaz Photo AI (to 3.4.1) as well as Affinity Photo 2 (to 2.5.7). 

After some sharpen and denoise in Photo AI the default is to export to .DNG. When I open this file in Affinity Photo it is horribly and weirdly distorted (see images—photos of screen taken with iPhone).  The first image (IMG_6321) is the distorted .DNG file in the Develop Persona of Affinity Photo. 

This does not happen with .TIFF files from the same software (the second image, IMG_6322). (Of course, going this route doesn't get me into the Develop Persona; though I guess in newer versions of Affinity I can switch to Develop Persona manually—does this lose me any functionality or quality?).

Is this a bug in Affinity that needs to be fixed?

I've tried several .DNG files exported from Topaz Photo AI, with the same result.

Could you share a .DNG sample file where you have encountered this distortion so we can investigate further?
