Valerian Posted December 17, 2024 Posted December 17, 2024 (edited) I didn't see any results through a few searches. I noticed last night that when I try to select things with the move tool that phantom/false guides appear and I cannot see the original(correct) guides. I have verified that the starting display for each file in the video (Uploaded to https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-YgpY67Ckxw) shows the correct guides according to the guides window. I will add in screenshots. My copyright on these of course. This was one of 3 problems I noted as I haven't used the suite for a while but updated the suite last night. The badge file was made in a version before 2.5.6 and the red logo was made last night in 2.5.7. I haven't checked other apps of the suite. How do I get someone to look into this? ** it appears that someone else's images were incorrectly added to this post. They are below. Staff NathanC Posted December 18, 2024 Staff Posted December 18, 2024 Hi @Valerian, This is a known issue currently logged with the development team. Documents that start as non-artboard files containing guides later converted to artboard documents will leave these 'Ghost' guides behind that are only visible when marquee selecting. I've bumped the issue with your report. 10 hours ago, Valerian said: The below images are not from my PC, it is not my desktop, and not my screenshots. From looking at the edit history your forum account edited the post 1 hour after posting and added the three images to the bottom, two of which are broken links but the final image is visible, is it possible they were just unintentionally pasted/dragged in during a post edit? I'm too not sure how else it would be possible for this to happen since it shows your account edited the post. Quote

I've bumped the issue with your report. Awesome. Thank you for the reply Nathan. I have been busy and haven't gotten a chance to test all the updates and features. The export preview not resizing and the Publisher missing font window not showing font previews for each font pulldown are my only current gripes in the limited time I have had to test features from the recent updates. 1 hour ago, NathanC said: From looking at the edit history your forum account edited the post 1 hour after posting and added the three images to the bottom, two of which are broken links but the final image is visible, is it possible they were just unintentionally pasted/dragged in during a post edit? My name is not Larry and I have no files named Larry. My computer is not named Larry. My background hasn't changed since I set it on 07/12/2024 when I downloaded the picture and I have nothing that would match the border around those alerts. Even weirder, the system only shows the images which I know to be correct under My Attachments as shown in the snip. Best guess is there was an error in the system and that person's images were incorrectly assigned to this post in the database. I appreciate all of the help. Thank you again. Quote

Just realized that you said the first two images don't load for you. They do for me for some reason so I will attach them here for reference. Quote
