Els-Jenelco Posted December 17, 2024 Posted December 17, 2024 Since the second to last update, my Affinity Designer doesn't allow me to save files anywhere else than to my Desktop. If I try to "save as" anywhere else I get a "File not found - Check the file name and try again" error. I have to save to my desktop and then move the files to the folders where I want it. Can someone please help? Quote
walt.farrell Posted December 18, 2024 Posted December 18, 2024 Welcome to the Affinity forums, @Els-Jenelco. My guess: You have the Controlled Folder Access function of Windows Defender active, and you have not authorized Designer to save files. There have been issues with this in the past, and I think there are still scenarios where the Affinity applications do not detect the initial failure to create the file, and then fail when trying to actually write to it.
