Hello Everyone,

I try to place an image in affinty desinger2 on the ipad app on a blank document. When importing the image via the place menu the image opens in a side panel "Place" already pre-selected however I cannot drag and move the image on the document. When drag the image nothing happens. There is also no way to select the image. Even if you tap it or hold it our double tap nothing happens.

Welcome to the Affinity forums, @AndreasOceanForest.

You should only get the Place panel (as far as I know) if you have selected multiple items from the Files dialog that the Place command gives you. If you select a single file, you should just get a prompt telling you to tap or drag on the screen to place the selected file. So I'm not sure why that panel is showing up, and it doesn't for me unless I select multiple files.

However, as explained in the Help for this function, you do not drag from the panel, you merely drag on the screen, and the selected item will be Placed. Or you can tap to use the item's native size.
