bonnersuk Posted December 9, 2024 Posted December 9, 2024 I have a line of text and I want to shape the line to fit a custom contour cd24.afdesign Quote
GarryP Posted December 9, 2024 Posted December 9, 2024 I cannot tell from that document what you want to do. Can you give us more information, and explain exactly what you mean by “fit”? Quote
bonnersuk Posted December 9, 2024 Author Posted December 9, 2024 If you can see the image? I want to shape some text around the contours of the snow mounds. I'm not sure if I've attached the image properly? Thanks for reply. Quote
GarryP Posted December 9, 2024 Posted December 9, 2024 I could see the image but I didn’t know what it was there for or if it was relevant because you didn't say what the "custom contour" was. When you say “shape some text around the contours”, what do you mean exactly? Can you draw an approximate shape over the image showing us the area you expect the text to cover after the manipulation? G13RL Posted December 9, 2024 Posted December 9, 2024 @bonnersuk, If you want something like my attached file, draw the dividing line between sky and earth, click on it with “Artistic Tool”. Click on “Align Centre” in the context bar. On the curve, move the orange triangle to the right end and type the text. Finish by adjusting the position with “Baseline” in the studio's “Character” tab. The lower part of my screenshot shows what the curve will look like when the text is typed. Quote
bonnersuk Posted December 9, 2024 Author Posted December 9, 2024 If you can see the red line then that is the shape I need the text to follow. cd24.afdesign Quote
G13RL Posted December 9, 2024 Posted December 9, 2024 Do as indicated in my previous message, using the red line. Adjust the position of the text with the triangles on the line. Quote
