Publisher do not save area in publish settings (preset)

So i created custom publish preset (pdf) but preset don AP do not keep area settings.

This is a frequently-requested change. The export presets do not include the Area list so we keep exporting as All Spreads instead of All Pages. The feature request is logged as AF-86. I understand why it works the way it does because the options in the Area list aren't fixed, but surely there's a way to make this sticky.
