Keya13 Posted December 2, 2024 Posted December 2, 2024 Hi Duvid, Yes, I'm also having the same problems. My only work around is exporting the single pages , Importing them into Designer and exporting the PDFs form there. Note: The Affinity Publisher version using 2.6.0.2900 for Designer is 2.5.6. Thanks for posting this bug! Keya duvid 1 Quote
Hangman Posted December 2, 2024 Posted December 2, 2024 Hi @Keya13 and welcome to the forums, Is Tagged PDF selected in the Advanced section of the PDF Export Window? If it is, does unchecking it allow you to export your file? This was the solution for @duvid so let us know if this works. If it’s not checked or if unchecking it makes no difference could you zip your .afbook file and .afpub chapters along with any linked files and upload the zip file so we can take a look as it’s likely something in the file itself causing the problem not related to this specific issue… Quote Affinity Designer 2.6.0 | Affinity Photo 2.6.0 | Affinity Publisher 2.6.0 MacBook Pro M3 Max, 36 GB Unified Memory, macOS Sonoma 14.6.1, Magic Mouse HP ENVY x360, 8 GB RAM, AMD Ryzen 5 2500U, Windows 10 Home, Logitech Mouse
Keya13 Posted December 2, 2024 Author Posted December 2, 2024 Hi @Hangman I tried unchecking the Tagged PDF selected in the Advanced section and it still doesn't let me export to PDF. I've loaded one of the files along with the images i use in them. I notice that with files that don't have any images taken by a camera or pulled off the internet I can export those like normal. Hangman Posted December 3, 2024 Posted December 3, 2024 Hi @Keya13, I very much suspect this is a regression introduced in 2.5.6 which results in an error when exporting to PDF. If you select Embed Profiles in the Advanced section of the PDF Export window does your file then export correctly? If it doesn't could you Embed the images that are currently Linked in your file by going to Resource Manager, selecting all the Linked images in the list then clicking the Embed button and re-upload your file so we can sort out what is going on? Keya13 Posted December 3, 2024 Author Posted December 3, 2024 Hi @Hangman Selecting Embed Profiles in the Advanced section of the PDF Export window worked! Thank you so much you've saved me so much time! Hangman 1 Quote
