MariusFratila Posted December 3, 2024 Posted December 3, 2024 Hey, I have a problem. I would like to snap the small square to the larger shape, but it doesn't work. I've tried all the snapping settings, including those from candidates. video.mp4 Quote
GarryP Posted December 3, 2024 Posted December 3, 2024 You could try using the Translate functionality of the Point Transform Tool instead. Select the rectangle, select the Point Transform Tool, hover the mouse over the node you want to align and look at the Status Bar to see what you need to do to translate the layer. You might need to experiment a little with the Point Transform Tool’s snapping settings (on the Context Toolbar) to get what you want. MariusFratila 1 Quote

thomaso Posted December 3, 2024 Posted December 3, 2024 Possibly the Node Tool is more direct than the Point Transform Tool: Select the object with the Node Tool, then either drag-select all nodes or simply press cmd/ctrl-A and click-hold a node to move the entire object by dragging. This way its nodes snap to the other curve. Bildschirmvideo aufnehmen 2024-12-03 um 14.17.55.m4v MariusFratila 1 Quote macOS 10.14.6 | MacBookPro Retina 15" | Eizo 27" | Affinity V1
