Simonkidd Posted December 2, 2024 Posted December 2, 2024 Windows 10. Version 2.5.5 I have a picture composed of many layers. The layers are selected bits of various pictures to go to make up a composit. If I select a layer about halfway down the stack and try to apply auto levels to it - I get the scrolling line 'auto levels' for ever and the only way out is to crash affinity using the task manager to end the task. Simonkidd Posted December 2, 2024 Author Posted December 2, 2024 Looking in the task manager when this happens - the affinity process memory utilisation continually increments and never seems to stop. Quote
Simonkidd Posted December 2, 2024 Author Posted December 2, 2024 (edited) Just tried 2.5.6 - still fails. I can apply auto levels to a picture layer if its on the to of the stack. If I move the same layer into the middle of the stack - select it and then auto-levels - affinity hangs. Processor utilisation mashing away at 98% this time. Have to exit with task manager stop and reload the crash recovery and start again file. Edited December 2, 2024 by Simonkidd update Quote
Staff Lee D Posted December 17, 2024 Staff Posted December 17, 2024 @Simonkidd It's not something I can seem to replicate on any composit files I have. Have you tried turning off Hardware Acceleration within the apps Settings > Performance to see if this has any affect? If not can you provide a sample file this is happening with and also confirm the spec of your system. Quote
