AD2 Export Persona Presets file names using tokens do not update for “Save AS” or external rename

Hi, I am running latest published AD2 on M3 MBP under Sequoia 15.1.1

I am finding that Export Persona token values do not update with “Save As” or external re-naming a file already open in AD2.

Edit: Despite searching before posting I missed a post indicating that at least some of the behaviour I described is included in AF-1496 back on January 3 when the new Export Persona presets were announced.

The Details

I have .afdesign files that I use as templates (so they’re not the same as an AD2 template).  These files include predefined slices with Export Persona Presets that use tokens to name the outputs.

When I need to create new output of this type, I will sometimes modify an existing file, and sometimes start with one of my “templates”; in both cases, the file I edit already includes my Export Presets.

After my edits I need a new file name for the result.  Sometimes it’s convenient to rename the file after the source is already open in AD2 (externally with Finder, so I can base the new file name on existing samples). Sometimes it’s convenient to “Save As” to a new file.  Then I use Export Persona to create the outputs I need.

My Export Presets work very well, except that it appears that:

1. the token values do not update with “Save As” - output filenames are based on the name of the .afdesign file at the time it was opened, and,
2. if you use an external mechanism (Finder in my case) to rename a file that is open in AD2.  Designer Persona displays the new name for the file, but the tokens reflect the name at the time the file was opened in AD2.

If I close the .afdesign file out of AD2 and reopen it, everything is good.  But that process is rather painful.

This behaviour is consistently reproducible.

@Dan C First, Happy New Year to you!  Looks like I put this in the wrong place.  Please move it as required, and confirm it’s a bug or advise if there’s a better approach that the one I still use.  This is latest published AD2 on M3 MBP with Sequoia 15.2 (updated since original post).
