Affinity v2 is inoperable in windows 11 machine with Nvidia RTX

3. Nvidia RTX 3060, Driver version: 32.0.15.6614, Driver date: 06/11/2024
4. 12 GB of RAM

To reproduce (Affinity Photo)

1. Open the Affinity Photo
2. Create new canvas
3. Place image
4. The image won't show on canvas but in the locator window the photo is moving albeit really slow
5. Close the app and then not responding
6. I had to end the task from the task manager
7. Reopen
8. Switch the renderer to NVIDIA
9. Do the same thing again (2-4)
10. The result is still the same (5)

To reproduce (Affinity Designer)

1. Open the Affinity Designer
2. Create new canvas
3. Draw random vector
4. Vector only shown on canvas like in 2 stroke then not accepting input anymore. but in the locator window, the vector is present albeit updated slow
5. Close the app and then not responding
6. I had to end the task from the task manager
7. Reopen
8. Switch the renderer to NVIDIA
9. Do the same thing again (2-4)
10. The result is still the same (5)

Which Windows OS do you have, 24H2?

That upgrade caused a lot of issues with many apps, drivers etc including symptoms like freezes or blue screens.

It is important to understand that most probably Microsoft caused the issues. Never the less, Affinity needs to react and may have to update Affinity to adapt to the breaking changes in this OS release.
